Murfreesboro Police stumbled upon a marijuana grow operation when they went to investigate a possible child abuse allegation. Once inside the house at 1838 Shelly Street, officers say they saw in plain site, a marijuana plant. Officers then obtained a search warrant and actually found two separate grow rooms in the home. Charges are pending against Jeffery Scott George, Sr.
