During the Thursday night City Council meeting in Murfreesboro, council members will hear of plans that the fire department has to build a new women’s locker room. The proposed locker room would cost taxpayers $70,000. Original estimates came in at $40-thousand, but the fire department decided to add another 225-square feet to the project. The increase in costs is also due to asbestos removal.
