The Finance Committee of the YMCA has approved plans for a $1-million dollar renovation to the Murfreesboro Y. Renovations will be most noticeable on the interior of the structure that is located on Thompson Lane. Some of the changes include a beginners exercise room, several new social areas and a new After Breast Cancer recovery meeting room. The changes should begin in November with construction lasting for about 120-days. The Y says they will refocus on families once the renovations are complete in 2012.
