Late Saturday, physicians decided to move Dennis Rainier from the Baptist Hospital in Pensacola to Nashville's Vanderbilt Medical Center. He is expected to be at the Nashville hospital Sunday afternoon (9/18/11). Dennis reportedly suffered a stroke Thursday (9/15/11) night while hospitalized in Florida. His wife Nancy was called back to the hospital that evening, and was told that tests showed he suffered a stroke that day.

Nancy gave details about the stroke, "It's located in the brain stem. We are so thankful that most of the symptoms seem to have faded away. Physical Therapy will come today (Saturday 9/17/11) to do an evaluation. The second bone marrow biopsy showed no leukemia or lymphoma. Thank God. Very positive. However, the oncologist thinks there is infection in bone marrow, but those results are not in."
