(MURFREESBORO)  On Sunday (6/28/2020) evening, a serious two vehicle crash shut down both lanes of traffic on Medical Center Parkway. It happened near the Searcy Street Greenway Trailhead and the new Murfreesboro Fire Hall #4.

Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers told WGNS that five persons were taken to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Rain may have been a factor in the two-vehicle crash. 

The roadway re-opened to traffic at 10:20PM Sunday night.
