UPDATE: Special Kids 2020 Banquet

Murfreesboro,TN - Special Kids Therapy and Nursing Center will host their annual banquet as a “virtual event” for the first time on Thursday, September 3. All proceeds will go to benefit the non-profit’s work in serving local children with special needs. Supporters including all guests are asked to RSVP by Monday, August 31.

Doors will open at 6 PM with a catered program beginning shortly after, including an online auction and special presentation from members of the local mission. Purchase of a “virtual seat” will include dinner provided by presenting sponsor Chick-fil-A of Murfreesboro. Meals will be available for in-person pick-up before the event a specified location later announced. The program will be available to watch live online on television, computer or smartphone.

In honor of the banquet’s 2020 theme, “Brave”, organizers will be celebrating the courageousness of the many who devote themselves to the service of others. While ticket prices have been reduced in light of changing the event to an online event rather than in-person, supporters are asked to consider making a donation to the local non-profit.

The 2020 Special Kids Banquet is presented by Chick-fil-A of Murfreesboro. Supporting sponsors include Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & Surgicenter, Project One Fourand Ole South Properties. Underwriting sponsors include Middle Tennessee Electric & Murfreesboro Electric, Wilson Bank & Trust and First Community Bank.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 4,500 children from 19 counties in middle Tennessee.
