Local Non-Profit that Helps Adults with Disabilities Holding Annual Luncheon

Journeys in Community Living, a non-profit organization based in Murfreesboro, will be holding their annual luncheon on September 29th. Journeys focuses on adults with disabilities by helping and teaching them to realize their visions of where and how they live, work and socialize/ The group also teaches job skills and trades to their adult students.

The organization is funded by grants and donations from local residents and for the last four years, the non-profit has held an annual fundraiser luncheon. This year, Journeys will still hold their luncheon, but due to COVID-19 you have the option of staying or picking up a lunch to go, as explained by Stacy Boyle (audio soundbyte below on WGNSradio.com)…

The event will be at The Grove off of Medical Center Parkway near the I-24 interchange on September 29, 2020 between 11AM and 1PM.
