Deputy William Travis with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office wants to keep impaired drivers off the roadways. He has recently came upon DUI motorists who were asleep on the side of the road. From experience, Deputy Travis places the “stinger system” under their car to disable the vehicle if they decide to flee. That has resulted in large seizures of drugs, cash, weapons and getting them off the roads. Thank you Deputy William Travis.
