McFadden School of Excellence is the latest school to move to distance learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans says beginning Monday and through November 24th, the school will move to distance learning. He says "the school is experiencing an increased number of staff members who are on a COVID-related quarantine. By closing the building, it will allow most of those staff members to complete their quarantines and return to work in-person."
