UPDATE: The auto burglary suspect has been identified.

Murfreesboro authorities are on the lookout for an alleged auto burglary suspect.

Detectives are needing the public's help in identifying and locating the man who police say broke into a vehicle on Olympia Drive. The break-in occurred on August 23, 2020.

The victim in the case said that he saw the unknown subject at his vehicle with the door open. The victim confronted the man who left on foot by fleeing through his yard.

The suspect is possibly in his mid-twenties and has wavy brown hair. He was seen wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark colored sweat pants.
