Five People Indicted in Connection to a 2019 Wilson County Homicide

An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment and arrest of multiple individuals stemming from a 2019 homicide investigation in Wilson County. One of those individuals was apprehended in Murfreesboro.

At the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, on June 11, 2019, TBI Special Agents began investigating the death of 21-year old Alexander Stephens, whose remains were found on June 10, 2019, in a wooded area off Secretariat Drive in Mt. Juliet. The investigation revealed that the victim had been killed several days earlier at a location nearby. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that identified several individuals who had a connection to the death of the victim.

On June 9th, the Wilson County Grand Jury returned indictments charging five individuals. Four people have been arrested. A fifth person was also indicted, and is currently being held in another facility on an unrelated charge.

Arrested in Murfreesboro was 39-year old Bonnie Lynn Piece, who was apprehended this summer. She was charged with "One count of Accessory After the Fact." Piece was booked into Wilson County Jail and released after posting $20,000 bond.

31-Year old Jeffrey Scott St. John was taken into custody in Mt. Juliet and charged with "One count of Accessory After the Fact." He was booked into the Wilson County Jail and released after posting $20,000 bond.

Brandon Mark Williams, 23 was charged with "One count of Accessory After the Fact." Williams was arrested in Ashland City and later booked into the Wilson County Jail on $20,000 bond.

38-Year old Jason Durand Toy was arrested in Lebanon and charged with "One count of Accessory After the Fact." He was booked into the Wilson County Jail on $20,000 bond.
