Rezoning continues to be discussed by the Rutherford County School Board as the county nears the opening date of Plainview Elementary School in Christiana.
That was Enrollment Planner Shane Morgan. A zoning meeting will be held on February 18th at 6PM in the Rutherford County School Board office.
Right now, two slightly different zone plans show that students living in the area East of Shelbyville Highway all the way to I-24 - and roughly between Joe B Jackson Parkway and just past Highway 269 in Christiana, would attend Plainview.

The new school is set to open in August of 2021.
