A missing person case involving a 47-year old man in Murfreesboro has been closed.

On March 1, 2021, Robert Bushman was reported as missing after he allegedly left Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, not too long after he walked into the medical facility. Police quickly released information about Bushman in hopes of locating him as soon as possible because he allegedly made suicidal statements to hospital staff.

On Monday afternoon (3/8/2021), Murfreesboro Police Public Information Officer Larry Flowers informed WGNS NEWS, "Robert Bushman has been safely located. Detective Albert Miles, III was able to speak with Bushman by phone."

The case is now closed and again, Mr. Bushman was safely located.
