A severe thunderstorms with 60mph winds blew through Rutherford County Thursday afternoon. The high winds came through between 5:30 and 7pm.

According to the MTE outage map around 6:40pm, just over 22-hundred were without power for a short time as the storm passed through.

Limbs were brought down all across the county as well.
