A listeners told WGNS that Murfreesboro Police Officer Josh Burkhart amazed them with his caring attitude. They were moving and needed help, Officer Burkhart took vacation time to help the family. He grew-up in Murfreesboro and always wanted to be a policeman. Officer Burkhart applied as soon as he was eligible—he loves helping people.  He works the overnight shift and has been with the Murfreesboro Police Department for a little over a year.
