Gun Stores Starting to See Inventory Increase for the First Time Since the Start of the COVID Pandemic in 2020

Looking back to the start of the Covid Pandemic in 2020, America saw increased sales in a variety of products.

One of the many products that left the store shelves in a matter of days was toilet paper and facial tissue. Sales were up 71% for both bathroom products and could have risen higher, but suppliers were out of stock which equaled stores being out of stock.

There was such a stink over the topic of toilet paper that Fortune Magazine wiped away other stories to dedicate more time to getting the scoop on what really happened. Their findings… the toilet paper that was missing from store shelves in March, April and May of 2020 exposed costly U.S. supply chain flaws.

Other products that sold out the first few months of the pandemic in 2020 included hand sanitizer, a multitude of cleaning supplies, hand soap, baby diapers, thermometers, water filters, board games, bicycles, sewing machines, computer monitors, laptops, webcams, ammunition and guns.

Gun sales increased by leaps and bounds in March and April last year. Ken Lane, owner of Bullseye Gun & Range in Murfreesboro told WGNS NEWS…

Handguns, rifles, shotguns, ammunition and even targets for shooting practice sold out at gun stores all over the country. Manufactures also had issues and couldn’t keep up with the increased demand…

Gun shops like Bullseye report the pandemic brought in new customers that have never owned a gun before, but why?

Lane said that things are starting to get back to some sort of normal and his store and others are well stocked with guns right now. As for ammunition…

Now that things have settled down, Lane has been able to move forward with one of his dreams for his store. That dream turned into reality is an indoor shooting range...

He told WGNS News that Bullseye Gun & Range will host an open house for the new shooting range on Friday and Saturday, July 23rd and 24th.
