The Rutherford County Democratic Party will hold a Biennial Reorganization Convention to elect new leaders on Saturday, August 14, 2021. The meeting will take place at Barfield Crescent Park, Pavilion 7. Doors open for registration at 8:30 in the morning on the 14th and the convention will start at 9:30 a.m., according to organizers.

All Democratic residents who are registered voters of Rutherford County are urged to attend to discuss the party's agenda for the next two years and to elect the new leadership team.

During the Convention, the voting delegation will adopt the County Party bylaws and elect new leadership including a Chair, three Vice Chairs, a Secretary, a Treasurer and Executive Committee members from all areas of the county for a two-year term.
