On New Year's day - just barely over the Rutherford County line in Antioch, a 17-year-old driver died in a 7 a.m. single-car crash on Old Hickory Boulevard near Cane Ridge Road. Metro Nashville worked the wreck and report the teen likel lost control of the Mazda sedan in a curve on wet pavement. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.
