A recent study shows that 94 per cent of Insight Counseling's clients would recommend the spiritually based counseling services to a family member or friend.

Last year these professional counselers with ministerial training provided Middle Tennesseans with 5,675 counseling sessions. Insight Counseling was formerly known as Pastoral Counseling, and they don't turn people away due to lack of finances. In fact, $448,786 in financial assistance for counseling was approved.

This ministry is working, because 88 per cent of Insight's clients feel that their lives are improving as a result of time with the counselors.

The counseling service is supported by Central Christian Church, First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church, and First United Methodist Church, along with many individuals. Its' mission statement is "Insight Counseling exists to restore lives to wholeness--mentally, emotionally, and spiritually."

Insight Counseling Center is a non-profit that is located at First Baptist Church, 200 East Main Street. Their phone number is 615-383-2115. Visit them on the internet at insightcounselingcenters.org/locations/murfreesboro.
