Around 5:00 on Saturday evening (3/3/18), Amity Lovelace allegedly threatened her husband at gunpoint at 616 Hollandale Road, according to LaVergne Police.

She was at the LaVergne residence when police arrived and reportedly Lovelace barricaded herself inside. Her husband was able to get out of the home with minor injuries before police arrived. No other people were inside the home.

Police say that no evacuations were ordered and there was no danger to the public. The SWAT team and negotiators were called in to help coax the woman outside. Lovelace was subdued by taser at the front entrance of the home around 8:15 Saturday night. She was taken into custody and transported by ambulance to be evaluated.

A warrant has been issued for Amity Lovelace' arrest charging her with Aggravated Assault-Domestic.

The investigation remains on-going.
