Reeves-Sain officially announced the 2014-2015 beneficiaries of the flu shot donation program, the Rutherford County Family YMCA and Community Helpers of Rutherford County, on Monday, Sept. 15, at the 2014-2015 Flu Immunization Kickoff in the Reeves-Sain Drug Store. Each year Reeves-Sain donates a percentage of proceeds from all flu shots administered to local charities.

Three representatives from the YMCA, Camille Mickel, Tarra Feasel and Katye Houston, and the Director of Community Helpers, Ann Jordan, attended the kickoff. Feasel, the YMCA's aquatics director, received her flu shot from Cindy Smith, Pharm.D., to kick off the Murfreesboro pharmacy's long-standing donation program.

Last year, Reeves-Sain donated $2,500 to United Way of Rutherford County in order to give back to the local community. The pharmacy hopes to double the amount donated this year, meaning more money going into the local community as well as more people protected from the flu virus.

Give back to your community and get your flu shot at Reeves-Sain. Stop in the Reeves-Sain Drug Store Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
