The Rutherford County School Board will soon elect a new chairman. Current Chairman Jeff Jordan, who decided not to seek a third year leading the board, reflects on highlights of the last two years:

The school board chairman is elected by the board each year in September. Recent chairs Terry Hodge and Wayne Blair also both served for two years. Jordan will remain on the seven-member board at least for the remaining two-years of his current elected term.
