Off the bustling streets of the ever growing Murfreesboro and on the Rutherford / Bedford County line is a small, yet prosperous operation that some families within a 15-mile radius depend on (Murfreesboro, Christiana, Rockvale, Eagleville, Bell Buckle and Shelbyville). The non profit organization provides food, clothing, school supplies and more to residents that lack the income to purchase such necessities.

The Journey of Hope is a non-profit that residents depend on in a major way. Pastor Doug Mitchell is the director of The Journey of Hope said they supply families in the area with hundreds of pounds of food weekly...

The 3rd Annual Journey of Hope benefit will help for the organization to continue their services and help to maintain the building they are in. The event will be at the Journey of Hope office at 3109 Midland Fosterville Road on September 9th.

The Saturday, September 9th fundraiser will be from 3PM to 7PM.
