State Senator Bill Ketron has thrown his support for Senate Speaker to Randy McNally, taking his name out of consideration. Murfreesboro Post writer Sam Stockard reported last week Ketron's name was on a short list of Republicans in the running for the position with the announcement from Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey that he wouldn't seek another term. McNally is a longtime Republican lawmaker from Oak Ridge.
