The RUTHERFORD ARTS ALLIANCE meets 4:00 to 5:00PM this coming Tuesday evening (7/9/2019) at Murfreesboro Little Theatre (MLT), in the log cabin theatre at 702 Ewing Boulevard.
Those attending Saturday evening's Masquerade Bash at The Center for the Arts wore cocktail attire and many had masks. It was a packed house for the dinner, auction and dancing. Plus, Andrea Loughry was presented the Arts Advocate of the Year award.
"Rutherford County is emerging as an arts and cultural heritage community celebrating a broad spectrum of creative expressions," says Andrea Loughry, Murfreesboro arts advocate and vice chair of the Tennessee Arts Commission.
RUTHERFORD Cable is celebrating it's 10th anniversary and all five five founders will be honored at the group's August 14th meeting, and Founder Rebecca Climer is the keynote speaker.
Murfreesboro arts leader, Andrea Loughry will serve as the Tennessee Arts Commission Vice-Chair. The appointment began July 1, 2018 and will continue for a year.
