Longtime community newspaper columnist Dan Whittle has passed away Thursday. The popular humorist, writer, story teller and broadcaster died Thursday morning. Visitation 3-7PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, funeral service there at 1PM Saturday, burial follows at the Mapleview Cemetery.
