Murfreesboro is not the only area that has seen its fair share of fires in recent days. A well known business in nearby Manchester caught fire on Thursday afternoon and was deemed a total loss.
The total purchase price of $4 million will be paid in two installments, one in January of 2014 and one in January 2015.
One 9-year-old boy remains in stable condition after suffering burns while apparently playing with a lighter Monday at his aunt’s home in Rockvale. Detective Randy Groce says the boy, who lives on Rockvale Road, was staying nearby with his aunt and six siblings and cousins when he apparently set his shirt on fire.
Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Department’s Districts 1, 2, 3 and Rescue 9 responded to a residential fire at 522 Council Bluff Parkway just before 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. The home is in the Indian Hills subdivision.
A La Vergne family is unharmed, but picking up the pieces after an overnight fire. It happened just before four this (Monday) morning on Fergus Road.
Several units from Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue arrived around 4:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon to a home at 1715 Saxony Court that was fully engulfed in flames.
