With a future Rover Bus Station to be built in Murfreesboro on West Main Street, the potential of new bus routes will be a reality.
Rover, the Murfreesboro Transit System, is turning eleven. As part of the celebration Rover patrons and the public are invited to enjoy a day of free ridership all day. Hot dogs, potato chips, and soda will be available from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Friday, May 11 at the Rover Transit Hub, located at 222 W Burton.
The request for public comment coincides with a City of Murfreesboro Transportation Department initiative to conduct a comprehensive study of the Rover transportation service.
The Rover bus service in Murfreesboro is not currently offered during the weekends, but that could change if ridership increases.
