Employers from Wal-Mart, Ellwood Staffing, La Vergne Fire and Police, Life of Victory, Meg's Playhouse, Onin Staffing are just a few of the employers that will be in attendance at the Life of Victory job fair on Saturday June 25th in LaVergne.
Empyrean Benefit Solutions, Inc. officials announced last week the company will locate a new customer service center in La Vergne. Empyrean will invest $2.9 million in the new operation, creating 120 jobs in Rutherford County.
The event will be at the Goodwill Career Solutions Center on South Church Street near Veterans Parkway.
Openings include machine operator, warehouse and forklift, punch press, brake press, welder, truck loader, caregiver and other positions. Rates of pay range from $8-$16 per hour.
The Rutherford County Government is also hiring. The Sheriff's Office is looking for a Communications Officer right now with a starting salary of $29,468. The deadline to apply is at the end of this month on May 29, 2015 at noon.
WGNS was told that openings include: hospitality, warehouse, manufacturing, and food services positions. Pay rates range $8.00-$14 per hour. More employers expected to participate.
The Goodwill Career Solutions center in Antioch is helping a company fill positions that are available in Rutherford County and Davidson County.
Some of the employers represented will be The Department of Veterans Services Health Division, Walmart, Calsonic Kansei, SMX Staffing, Glenn Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, Boulevard Terrace Health and rehabilitation and Manchester Healthcare among others.
A personnel company is working with Goodwill in placing up to 100-people in jobs, many of which are located in Rutherford County.
