Unemployment rates for each of Tennessee's 95 counties dropped during August 2019 according to data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Rutherford County tied with Wilson County for third place at 2.7 per cent of the workforce unemployed.
The Volunteer State continues to have low unemployment in most counties. In fact Rutherford County continues to be in a 3-way tie for third place, topped only by Williamson County on top, and then Davidson.
Each of Tennessee's 95 counties experienced lower unemployment in November 2018 according to newly released data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Plus, Rutherford tied for the second lowest unemployed county in the Volunteer State.
Tennessee's unemployment rate for the month of April was 4.7 percent, down from 5.1 percent in March.
