What we did not report, was that Sibert's small dog named “Maggie” was found sitting by his side when authorities arrived. Sibert's sister Susan Hughes lives in Missouri, but was told that the small dog sat by her brothers' side for an estimated 6-hours before a passerby noticed that Sibert was actually under the vehicle.

Woman deposits nearly $2,000 for selling her dog, check turns out to be a FAKE
The dog was advertised by the victim on CraigsLists.org for $650. The culprit who was purchasing the animal told the victim to take $650 out of the check to cover the cost of the dog and mail the rest back. She did. The bank later told the woman that the check was no good and that she was responsible for the money deposited.

Murfreesboro Man Accused of Beating Neighbor's Dog with Baseball Bat
A Murfreesboro man has been accused of beating a dog with a baseball bat and then calmly walking away. The incident was reported to police on December 21st. According to the report, a witness told officers that 63-year old Keith Benton Swafford walked across the street, beat a neighbor’s dog and then calmly walked back to his house.
