A bizarre Murfreesboro kidnapping case that happened in 2014 is now closed.

Two years ago, 35-year-old Taris Frazier entered a home on East Castle Street and held three women hostage in a closet. Police said that the women were in the closet so long, they were forced to use the bathroom in the small space.

One of the three women was able to break free when Frazier fell asleep in the home while guarding the door. The woman ran to a nearby McDonalds on Broad Street at 4:00 in the morning where she went to the drive through window telling a worker about the situation. The police were immediately called and responded to the house.

A brief standoff took place before Frazier was taken into custody.

District Attorney Jennings Jones told WGNS that Frazier was convicted this past week (3/3/16)...

Again, Frazier will be sentenced to prison in May (2016).
