Kindergarten & 7th Graders Must Have Immunizations Before School Starts

It's less than a month before school starts back. Murfreesboro City Schools spokesperson Lisa Trail tells WGNS News now is the best time for parents to make sure their children have the proper vaccinations...


Last year, there were several seventh graders who weren't up to date on their vaccinations and weren't allowed into class until that was done. This is the second school year that the state has mandated all seventh graders have updated boosters for Tdap and varicella, commonly known as the chicken pox disease. Check with either Murfreesboro City Schools or Rutherford County Schools if you have any questions.
