A kindergarten student at McFadden School of Excellence used her birthday to help raise money for Room in the Inn. Six-year old Nara Anusonti-inthra tells NewsRadio WGNS she saw homeless people on the square on a cold winter night and was touched to help them...
So instead of receiving gifts for her birthday, Nara asked her friends to make a financial gift to Room in the Inn. Nara and Sue Copeland with Room in the Inn were on the Action Line with Bart Walker this week, where she also shared she wants to run and aquarium when she grows up. If you'd like to listen back to the interview, we have it in the ON DEMAND section of our website WGNSRadio.com under Action Line.
