The American Artist Collection, an evolving project from Kirkland's, Inc., is a curated collection using the work of local and regional artists to create a one-of-a-kind product. Each piece is created on canvas and features hand-texturing to enhance its details. The collection is now available online and in stores for purchase.

"We are thrilled to feature a variety of local and regional artists in Kirkland's new American Artist Collection," said Courtney Vassar, Senior Art Buyer. "The collection allows these artists the opportunity to share their collections with Kirkland's shoppers across the nation and provide our customers with custom art pieces, which are typically found only in upscale galleries or art fairs."

McReynolds, a former-CPA-turned-artist, draws her inspiration from her love of nature and the beautiful surroundings of her adoptive state of Tennessee. She uses a multimedia approach to achieve the final touches on her canvases. On most days, she can be found painting in her home studio, with her two dogs nearby.
