Nearly $2 Million in grant money is going to the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department. Fire Chief Larry Farley told WGNS News...



With the grant money, it expands the possibility of opening another location to better serve the growing population...



Approval of the grant by the Rutherford County Commission will likely take place in mid-October, which means hiring will take place thereafter. New firefighters could be on the job by November of this year.
