(MURFREESBORO) The Inaugural National Bacon Day Festival held from 11:00 o'clock Saturday morning until 7:00 that night Murfreesboro's McKnight Park at 120 DeJarnette Lane was pop'n with grease, along with thousands of happy people.

The Bacon Day Festival was an unqualified success as evidenced by the immense crowds and traffic.
