Early Tuesday (4-26-16) morning, LaVergne Police say that an unknown man broke out the glass door at Larro's Market at 415 Old Nashville Hwy. and stole a cash register. LaVergne dispatchers received notification of the glass break from the alarm company at 1:07 in the morning, but by that time the suspect had committed his crime and left. Surveillance footage shows the suspect forcing entry at 1:04 AM and being out of the store in less than a minute.

LaVergne Police are now seeking the public's help in identifying the thief. He is of an unknown race, stands at about 5'7 or 5'8, and weighs around 150 lbs. John Fesmire with the police department told WGNS NEWS, "He's not very strong and struggled with the cord of the cash register for a few moments before freeing the register and running out of the store on foot."
