Linebaugh will be hosting two local author book signings in December. Brittany Goodwin will be at Linebaugh on Monday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and student authors from Central Magnet School on Tuesday, December 6, from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Brittany Goodwin will be selling and signing copies of her book, If You're Gone, which was published by Edge of 22 Publishing in June 2016. If You're Gone is a YA mystery that tells the story of Lillian White, whose world is shattered when her boyfriend, Brad, mysteriously disappears the night of his graduation ceremony. After law enforcement dismisses the case, classifying Brad as voluntarily missing, Lillian begins to uncover secrets from Brad's past that force her to question everything she thought she knew about him and their relationship. Will the truth lead her to him? Or are Brad's lies just the beginning of the mystery?

Goodwin is a screenwriter and author based in Nashville, TN, and has written screenplays for two nationally-distributed films, Secrets in the Snow and Secrets in the Fall. Goodwin lives on a mini-farm with husband, John, and an ever-growing plethora of house pets.

A special group of Central Magnet students will make up the December 6, book signing event. These authors are from the Advanced Honors English Class of Central Magnet teacher Cynthia Salvage. The students have written and published books as part of a year-long class project of writing novellas. Lightening Source partnered with the school to help them self-publish.
