A Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun was found in the front of College Grove Apartments in Murfreesboro on Lascassas Pike. Of course, the gun was located at an apartment complex that has multiple children living with their parent or parents. The gun was evidently found by a tenant at around 6 in the evening on Tuesday near the office.

In addition to the gun itself, someone also found the loaded pistol magazine. Their was also one bullet in the chamber.

Murfreesboro Police checked the National Crime and Information Center database and confirmed the gun was not listed as stolen.

The weapon was collected and turned into the evidence room at the police department.
