A local woman is charged with leaving her children, all under age seven, alone in a parked car at Wal-Mart on Old Fort Parkway. Murfreesboro Police were called Tuesday afternoon just after 12 after being contacted by store staff.

One of Cristle Depresha Spicer's children was inside the store at the customer service desk. Officers report the child was inside the store for about 30-minutes before Spicer arrived at customer service.

A check of the store's video surveillance found Spicer allegedly parked and left all three in the car. After a few minutes went by, one child left the car and began to cross the parking lot alone. It also showed the child was almost struck in the crosswalk by another vehicle. That was the child that was found by Wal-Mart staff.

The video then showed about 10-minutes went by before Spicer went back to her car to find one of the children gone. She then left two others inside the car while she went inside the store to look for her third child.

The Department of Children's Services was called and the children were taken to their grandmother's home for their safety. Spicer was arrested and taken to jail. She was booked on three counts of leaving a child under seven alone and reckless endangerment. Bond was set at 65-hundred dollars and Spicer will be in court on May 12th.
