Special Kids Therapy and Nursing Center recently received some extra help when 15 HCA employees spent the day volunteering at the local nonprofit. Rather than a typical day of work, the volunteers were able to work all day at Special Kinds on October 14. The HCA employees made artwork coasters to give to Special Kids' donors, painted water color pictures with the children, and created a drainage path for runoff water behind the Special Kids Nursing Center.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 2,900 children from 18 counties in middle Tennessee.
