Two local staff of the Legal Aid Society are recognized by their peers across Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands.

Karen Bush was recently given the Pete Award, given to support staff who go above and beyond. She's worked at the local office for the past 25-years:

Attorney Amy Luna received the Drake Holliday Award, given to the attorney who fearlessly represents a client or clients in a perilous situation:
