The Murfreesboro Cold Patrol is getting some needed help from the local Rutherford County Democratic Party.

Democrats in our area are helping to collect 1,000 pairs of socks, 100 pairs of long johns, 1,500 hats and 100 sleeping bags. The items will be used throughout the winter season by homeless living in Rutherford County.

Cold Patrol founder Jason Bennett told WGNS News, "You can drop off any of the needed supplies at the RCDP office during the month of November. Volunteers will hand the items out. Another needed item would be fast food gift cards or extra items of warm clothing."

Again, socks, long johns, sleeping bags and winter hats can be dropped off along with fast food gift cards at the Rutherford County Democratic Party office.

Drop Off Location: 603 W. Burton Street, Suite B Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130
