The La Vergne Public Library is hosting a frightening feast full of scary snacks at the annual Gross Grub event. The Library will be transformed into a haunted house of hors d'oeuvres on Thursday, October 29 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Staff members are creating ghoulish grub and gross looking goodies that will make patrons squirm and their tummies growl with excitement. This mess of meals includes treats like roasted zombie eyes, worm sandwiches, witches barf fruit salad, pumpkin snot, and vampire doughnuts.

"Gross Grub is a family friendly event where staff members trick patrons by serving them disgustingly delicious treats. My favorite part of the event is seeing the reactions of children after they taste our creepy creations," said Donna Bebout, Library Director. "This is one of our favorite events because we get to let our imaginations run wild. We can't wait to see our patrons enjoy this wickedly fun feast of horror."

Participants are welcomed to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume and enjoy the frighten feast that will have them howling for more.
