385 Tennessee Lottery Tickets were stolen from the Kroger Store on South Church Street Monday morning in Murfreesboro. Evidently, two younger white males entered the store and grabbed the plastic case containing multiple tickets off the counter and fled the scene.

Apparently, one of the two subjects asked the clerk at the customer service counter for a pack of Kool brand cigarettes. When she went to grab the smokes for the customer, the young man allegedly grabbed the lottery tickets and then ran out the door.

Employees noted that the two men ran down the sidewalk and towards Waterford Place Apartments, which is also on South Church Street.

Later that same morning, the subjects tried to cash in their winnings at the Dodge's Store on Broad Street and Thornton's Gas Station on Old Fort Parkway. The two men were questioned by police and arrested. 21 year old Anthony Green and 18 year old Justin Richardson are now facing theft charges.

The lottery tickets were valued at over $1,000.
