Murfreesboro Police indicate thousands of dollars of stolen cooper may be an inside job. Several months of overage purchases are believed to make-up the theft.

According to police reports, Southern States Electric has gone over cooper orders and matched them to jobs. They told detectives that approximately ten percent overages are estimated. That adds up to thousands of dollars of new copper.
