Man accused of raping 85 year old Murfreesboro woman due in court Friday

The case involving the arrest of 18-year old Chriteris Allen went before the Rutherford County Grand Jury and Allen will face a number of charges this Friday in court. Allen is the man accused of raping an 85 year old woman in her garage near the Mitchell Neilson Schools.

The man has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated robbery, 2 counts of robbery in concert with two or more persons, assault with bodily injury, theft, 6 counts of aggravated rape and 1 count of aggravated robbery.

The hearing on Friday is called a discussion hearing. Allen and his attorney J. Russell Nixon will learn what evidence the state has against him. His plea is expected to be filed on May 24, 2018 before Judge David Bragg.
