A man who told police he was a teacher at “Old Fort Park” has been arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, according to an arrest report. 44-Year old Philip Treen allegedly struck another vehicle after leaving Sams Sports Bar. After Treen reportedly rear-ended the other car, he evidently drove home. The driver of the car that was said to be struck by Treen followed him to Reagan Drive.

When police arrived they reportedly went to the house where they met with Treen. A police arrest report states, “Mr. Treen had bloodshot, watery eyes, was unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech and a strong odor of an intoxicant about his person.” Police say they found a paint chip from Treen’s Nissan Altima on the victims vehicle. As far as injuries go… the victim complained of shoulder pain, but refused medical treatment.
