In order to get away from Murfreesboro Police, 35 year old Orlando Chesterfield allegedly jumped out of the second story window of a hotel room.

On Friday night police were called to the Red Roof Inn on Armory Drive where it was suspected that someone was selling drugs in a second story room. When police knocked on the hotel door a voice inside asked who was at the door. Police then heard the commode flush about four times after notifying the hotel guest that police were outside the door. A female then answered the door and yelled that the suspect just jumped out of the window. Another officer located Chesterfield a short distance away and placed him under arrest.
